Once you have a set a default custom layout, it will appear under the Reports > Custom Table section as the default.

By selecting a default saving option, this selection will be applied for all future saving operations throughout Analytics. You can still override this setting within the Save dialog, should you wish to.

The default benchmark will be used for all new portfolios within the Portfolio Builder.

The default portfolio currency can be set, and the changes will be applied for all portfolios created after adjusting the default.

A Custom Portfolio Report template can be set as the default. The default report will always appear as the selected option under Reports > Custom Portfolio Report Builder. Note: once a default Custom Portfolio Report has been selected, the option to make it the default Scan will become available under the Portfolio Scan section of User Preferences.

By changing the default scan selection, the active list link (shown below) will automatically produce a scan of the selected type.
